The list is expanding… I trust I have not left anyone out.  It seems we now have a ‘gurli corp. line’, so you ‘men-at-arms better practice the drill.  Can you hear the footsteps behind you…?
We have doubled in size, almost overnight, the Colonel is pleased that the Regimetnal enlistment list is rapidly filling toward the needed quota.  Therefore, my most humble and sincere welcome, and welcome back, is offered to all of you.  You have given this ‘old soldier’ one more reason/season to ‘soldier on’.  I almost can’t wait for the first overnight camp, should be an enlightening experience for us all.
For you, of the publick, still lurking, still waiting to ‘Heed Your Countries Call’, report now by the most expedient means available to you… The enemy is close at hand and is bent on our domination… We need men-at-arms, musicians, camp followers and all manner of craftsmen, teachers (for the youngun’s), surgeon’s mates, apothecary mates, mid-wives, drovers, builders, cooks, and so on and so forth. ‘Enlist now’ in your countries future, join the growing 6th CR, Company of Light Infantry
Next muster will be on Main St., Town of Old Saybrook,  Connecticut Colony, Saturday, Dec. 12th, at Six of the Clock in the Evening.  For those curious citizens who may wish to join with us, meet under the Clock at the ‘Liberty Bank’ at the appointed hour and day, posted above.  Be prepared to march…..
To the Citizens of Sagg Harbour, be aware, Freedom is but days away….!!!
