Uniform Requirements

 

NOTE: ALL clothing (except shoes) and equipment must be of the 18th Century period. If you are unsure, please ask before buying. It will save you time and money. If you have any questions, including where to purchase, email us. You do not need to get everything all at once. You should start with just the Basic Uniform. The rest can come later and there might be “loaners” within the Regiment for the rest until you can purchase your own equipment.

Basic Uniform:

  • White Shirt
  • White Breeches
  • White waist coat
  • Black neck stock (leather or cloth)
  • Hunting Frock (Nutmeg color)
  • White over the knee stockings (can be off white)
  • Plain Black shoes w/ heel (does not have to be Colonial)
  • Black Felt floppy hat
  • Garters
  • Splatterdahes

Additional Uniform Items for Infantry (not including Musick and Colours)

  • Regimental Coat (Blue with White facings, 1″ USA pewter Buttons)
  • Cocked Military Hat (White trim/black cockcade)
  • Black Gaiters (over the knee)
  • Double Frog (for bayonet and tomahawk)
  • Tomahawk
  • Bayonet
  • Musket
  • Musket tool
  • Whisk and Pick
  • Cartridge Box
  • Haversack
  • Canteen (tin, stainless steel, or wooden)

Additional Uniform Items for Musick and Colours

  • Regimental Coat (White with Blue facings, 1″ USA pewter Buttons)
  • Cocked Military Hat (White trim/black cockcade)
  • Black Gaiters
  • Drum or Wooden Fife (Musick only)
  • Haversack
  • Canteen (tin, stainless steel,  or wooden)

Other Items

  • Tent
  • Tin cup (or ceramic, leather, etc.)
  • Tin plate (or wooden)
  • Tin bowl (or wooden)
  • Utensils (fork, spoon, and knife)
  • Camp stool or chair (if you wish to sit, you must bring your own!)
