10th Continental Regiment of Foot 

• Parson's Connecticut Regiment  

• Formed January 1st 1776  

• Redesignated the 6th Regiment of the Connecticut Line January 1st 1777

  • Light brown coat, faced with the same, light brown waistcoat March 29th 1776

  • Lightish colored bearskin coat, faced with buff, pewter buttons November 29th 1776  

 

6th Regiment of the Connecticut Line

• 10th Continental Regiment became the 6th Regiment of the Connecticut Line January 1st 1777 

• Consolidated with part of the 4th in 1781 

• Consolidated into the 1st Connecticut in 1783

    • Green coat, light colored vest and breeches April 9th 1777 

    • Short blue coat, tow trousers, flannel shirt, gray stockings footed with blue March 25th 1778

    • A blue straight bodied coat, reddish brown jacket, blue everlasting breeches April 23rd 1777 

      • Checked shirt, red and white silk handkerchief, blue and white stockings April 23rd 1777 

      • Carved silver shoe and knee buckles April 23rd 1777 

    • Brown jacket, checked linen shirt and trousers  

    • Butternut colored jacket, white  linen shirt and trousers September 23rd 1778
